Thank you for inquiring about the Florida Sailing & Cruising School. We are an American Sailing Association Certification Facility (ASA) as well as one of the leading hands-on powerboating schools in the country. Our instructors are U.S. Coast Guard licensed Captains.

Southwest Florida offers some of the finest and most varied cruising anywhere. We feel it's the perfect area for our live-aboard, Learn-To-Cruise program. From remote islands to plush resorts, from sugar sand beaches and wilderness waterways to bustling marinas, we have it all. Our main facility is located at the Southwest Florida Yachts operations base at Marinatown Marina in North Fort Myers, Florida, and is one of the nicest marine resorts in the area. Located across the Caloosahatchee Bridge from downtown Fort Myers, Marinatown Marina, is the perfect base for our Power Boat Courses. For more than twenty years we have provided year-round boating instruction with a commitment to excellence.

The Florida Sailing & Cruising School also operates out of Burnt Store Marina Resort on beautiful Charlotte Harbor. Our sailing classes and some power courses are taught on our fleet of privately owned yachts at this lovely marine resort.
