NYSMF's Visiting Artist Program provides a rare opportunity for our students to interact with professional musicians of international acclaim. Visiting artists present master classes, workshops, and a limited number of private lessons (for an additional fee) each week in a friendly, casual, and always professional environment. These artists often perform in evening concerts as soloists with our orchestras and in recitals.

The instructors at NYSMF have hundreds of combined years of experience in private instruction, professional performance, and teaching at summer music festivals.

The NYSMF Administration, Conductors, Faculty Instructors, and Counseling Staff represent virtually every major music school in the country, as well as a large proportion of top professional orchestras and internationally renowned jazz ensembles from around the globe.
