Roseau River Bible Camp’s mission is to REACH THE UNREACHED with the salvation message of Jesus Christ, and to TEACH THE REACHED about God’s desire for their lives. Our vision is to draw everyone closer to God though our program, staff and facilities.
We fulfill that mission by evangelizing and discipling children, youth, and adults through integrated camping and conference programs in an outdoor, wholesome environment resulting in the glory of Jesus Christ. Our camp, which operates under CSSM Ministries, is accredited by both the Manitoba Camping Association and Christian Camping International - Canada.
During the summer months the camp is a busy place. Approximately 1,000 campers between the ages of 7 and 18 have the opportunity to receive Biblical teaching in an encouraging and nuturing environment. Throughout the year, the camp is also a retreat and conference center and hosts a variety of different retreats and rental groups.
Together with CSSM's Manitoba Branch, the camp is operated by a local board of directors. The camp is non-profit, non-denominational organization and its facilities have been built by the voluntary gifts and labours of many people interested in sharing the Good News found in God's word - the Bible.
Rod and Rose Reimer have served as camp directors since April 2007. They manage camp operations including, among many things, the Summer Camp program and rentals. Duane and Sylvia Goertzen have served on a full time basis with the camp since 2001. Duane is the site manager while Sylvia serves as the camp's registrar. Both Duane and Sylvia served as cabin leaders for a number of years before joining the camp leadership team.
The camp is also supported by the tireless efforts of many volunteers and seasonal staff, who serve the camp is various positions--in the kitchen, as maintenance workers, as cabin leaders--just to name a few.
