The Children's Gym is owned and operated by Traci Vogel, a pre-school specialist with 25 years of experience in the field. Traci developed her love for gymnastics as a student of the sport. She began coaching at Oregon Athletic Club when she was seventeen, and it was during this experience that she was introduced to her mentor. With her mentor, she developed a pre-school gymnastics program that flourished. They moved the program to the current Hollywood location in 1982. Traci assumed ownership of the program in 1984, and The Children's Gym was born.



Traci started the The Children's Gym because of her passion for teaching children of all skill levels and abilities. She felt there was a need to provide a place for a diverse group of students to gather and learn gymnastics in a noncompetitive environment. The Children's Gym has provided such an opportunity. Inspiring children for a lifetime, The Children's Gym challenges students to develop not only their bodies but also their minds.



Classes run monthly from September to June with programs for beginners through advanced gymnasts. During the summer months, the gyms host weekly gymnastics camps. In addition to gymnastics classes and camps, both gyms offer birthday parties. Students are provided the opportunity to display their gymnastics skills at the annual Summer Show Off. With individual improvement as the cornerstone of the show, all participants are winners.
