Welcome to our new website! Several sections are still under construction, so please be patient with us. Please look around and get to know our organization.
Somerset Hills Handicapped Riding Center (SHHRC) is a non-profit registered charitable organization whose mission is to improve the quality of life for individuals with physical, developmental, emotional and medical challenges through a diverse program of equine assisted activities, equine assisted therapy and educational initiatives.
SHHRC is designated as a Premier Accredited Center of NARHA, who provides education, accreditation and resources for the equine assisted activities industry.
All of our programs are volunteer-intensive and we are always looking for new people who are willing to donate their time. If you are 14 years old or older,we’d love to have you join the SHHRC team.
