Camp Holmestead is located in a small place called Homeville, Nova Scotia - adjacent to an area called Mira Gut. One of the main attaractions of the area is the beautiful Holmeville River ( and False Bay ) which borders the camp. The camp facility includes 8 cabins, a cookhouse/dining room, complete bath houses, a great field for game play and indoor facilities. Holmeville is located within convenient driving distance to historic Louisburg, Glace Bay, and Sydney. A great place to earn an Aqua Quest Swimming Award or take a canoe trip up the Homeville River to explore some unique tidal wetlands. Enjoy Archery , Bible Study, and Awesome Worship.
