Description

Join us for an educational peer group for those diagnosed with keratoconus, designed to help you adjust and live with the disease and it’s treatments in varying ways.

Keratoconus Connection’s mission is to offer opportunities for education, exchange of experiences, support, and to offer techniques on dealing with the discomfort associated with this disease (ie; relaxation exercises and stress reduction).

The group is professionally led by Renee Halberg, MSW, LCSW, a licensed clinical social worker at Duke Eye Center. The meetings include lunch, Q&A time with an MD/OD, as well as time to connect with others.
