Description

There are other wrestling camps out there. The difference is, the Intensive Camp is more than simply a wrestling camp. I promise if you do what's required, this experience will change your life. I guarantee it.

I look at it from the perspective of the young, developing wrestler. You know you can succeed if you focus and work hard, but there is a limit to how hard a coach can push during the regular season (weight cutting, school, competition, etc.).

What you need to break through all the barriers is an experience that gives you three important things:

  1. Focus. J Rob Intensive Camps eliminate all distractions for 10, 14 or 28 days. No family. No school. No social outings. This extreme immersion changes how you view your limitations. You surrender yourself to a highly concentrated and very structured environment that requires you each and every day to consistently do more. You’re stretched to your limits daily. And as a result, you realize that you’re capable of so much more than YOU ever thought possible.

  2. Mental Strength. A lot of coaches and athletes think that attending a J Rob camp is only about getting in great shape and gaining technical knowledge and skills. Nothing could be farther from the truth. I constantly hear people remark, “You go to camp and get in great shape, but you can’t use it for 5 months.” Camp isn’t just about physical training; it’s about extending your boundaries mentally—which is the real key to success.

  3. Lasting Impact. The more intense an experience, the more you learn and the longer you will retain it. When a camper leaves my camp, they bring something home with them that allows them to be not just better wrestlers, but better leaders, students, sons, daughters and citizens. J Rob camps instill new skills in multiple areas of life. Camp is about developing wrestling and life skills, and that requires time, attitude, effort and—above all—intensity.
