DescriptionCampers will have the opportunity to learn baseball the "Ripken Way," the way both Cal and Bill learned from their father, Cal Sr. who was in baseball 37 years and known as the game's foremost baseball instructor at the highest levels. Campers will feel great about themselves as they improve their skills and play games on professional quality fields modeled after famous ballparks. The staff to camper ratio is 8:1 so campers who experience daily instruction from our former major league and advanced staff, will be very focused on the game's fundamentals as the values of hard work, integrity, persistence, preparation and teamwork are endorsed - lessons that will last a lifetime both on and off the field. Day and residential camps are available - campers who reside with us will lodge in an environmental camp or collegiate-like setting where they will learn about respecting the environment and the world around them. Ripken camps create a positive, wholesome experience for young people of all ages. This year, Ripken Baseball is offering 5 weeks of our regular camp programming and 2 weeks of camp programming called the "Ripken Experience" weeks. During these weeks, Cal Ripken, Jr. and his former Major League teammates will be on-hand to personally instruct the campers. This is a once in a lifetime experience. Camp spaces are limited, so register early for all of our camps!
