Welcome to Water Wings Swim School where learning how to swim is both enjoyable and effective. Water Wings is a year round swim school with indoor heated pools, that caters to the needs of children and adults of all ages and abilities. We pride ourself in teaching not only water safety but competitive swimming skills as well. Our goal is to provide high quality swimming instruction, using developmentally sound teaching methods, with patience, care, and a gentle approach.



Owned and operated by Avi and Tracy Shafshak, we opened our doors in April 2003, located at the Merryhill private school in Las Vegas, Nevada. We currently have three locations, serving the greater Las Vegas area and Sacramento.



We believe that a year-around approach to swimming reinforces all the skills needed to becoming a relaxed and confident lifelong swimmer. Our program recommends to most of our clients to come in once or twice a week in a small group setting, and that they do this on a year round basis. This consistent and continuous exposure to the water is the key to making swimming an enjoyable and beneficial part of your family's lives. A swimmer of any age (3 months to adult) and any ability level can enter our program and find an appropriate class at any time of the year. We are open seven days a week and offer both morning and evening classes to meet all of your scheduling needs. Our Lessons are 30-minutes in duration, and our facilities are equipped with indoor heated pools, kept at a comfortable temperature of 90 degrees. Our facility is also outfitted with change rooms, restrooms, and showers for your convenience.

We are now enrolling for our Summer Swim Camp. Each camp is five hours full of fun at our indoor swimming facilities.



Your kids will enjoy full use of our indoor swimming pools and will include swim lessons by Las Vegas's finest swim instructors. They will also enjoy free swim where they will have races, games, competitions, and all the fun in the world. They will also be doing arts and crafts, water games, and much more!!!!

Each camper will be provided with a Water Wings swim bag, logo T-Shirt, and logo water bottle and THE BEST SUMMER VACATION!!!

This camp consists of one hour of our swim lessons, one hour of pool play time that includes free play, games, races, diving for rings and all of our pool toys with lifeguards on duty. All campers will receive a snack between swim times provided by Water Wings Swim School, lunch after swimming (for full day only), which child is responsible for bringing, and arts & crafts and other fun activities with a different theme each week.
