DescriptionFor more than 50 years, North Shore Country Day School’s Summer Programs has provided children with fun and safe activities. During the summer months, our Summer Programs uses our spacious 16-acre campus to offer quality programs which challenge campers to grow as individuals while learning through adventure.
For complete information on our Summer Programs for children ages 3-14 refer to the program guide available through the link below, or contact the Summer Programs North Shore Country Day School's 16-acre campus is located on the west side of Green Bay Road just south of Willow Road in Winnetka, Illinois. We're easily accessible by public transportation including the PACE bus system which stops at our main entrance, and the METRA north line which stops a short walk away at Indian Hill and Winnetka's Elm Street. The best way to explore our campus is on foot. Contact our Admissions Office at 847.441.3313 to schedule a personal tour. Because we are small, teachers know their students as individuals. The same is true for students. They know each other, respect each other and help each other. Our Upper School is not just made up of four grades – all Upper School students blend and interact in classrooms, on the stage and on the athletic fields. And because we are small, we have the flexibility to develop and implement new curriculum from one year to the next. Every summer, a group of teachers applies for and are awarded grants for enhancing classroom programs. The result is challenging and engaging programs that are relevant to making global connections, sustainability issues, or reaching out to help those in need after being inspired by a great book.
