The Student SUccess Initiative (SSUI) is a program committed to the retention of students. It is designed for the undergraduate who is dedicated to making a change in his/her approach to academic and personal development. In partnership with schools and colleges, SSUI provides a comprehensive learning community experience that includes personal coaching, quiet study areas, university-wide study clinics, and tutorials, as well as social activities that fully support the development and utilization of success-oriented skills and strategies.



When you make the commitment to join SSUI, you are making a commitment to work on identifying and improving your strategies for academic success. You are joining a community of staff, students, and faculty who share and support your commitment.



Summer Session II classes begin on Tuesday, July 6, and conclude on Friday, August 13, 2010. SSUI participants should check into the residence, Dellplain Hall, 601 Comstock Avenue, on Monday, July 5. The program orientation will take place on this date at 6 p.m. Location: TBA. This is a mandatory meeting, at which time you will be introduced to your personal coach. Courses offered are from the summer catalog which may be viewed on line in mid-March.
