Harcum College would like to welcome Jenn McKeighan from Newtown Square, PA as the newest member of the 2009 Women’s Volleyball Team. Jenn will be taking on the role as Assistant Coach for this season; she comes prepared with a wealth of playing experience and accomplishments. Starting in 1997 Jenn began playing club volleyball and played for Quaker City, Golden Eagles, Outsiders, and Keystone Juniors Volleyball Clubs. In High School Jenn was awarded 1st Team All Main Line 2002 while attending Academy of Notre Dame. She also was awarded 2nd Team All Delco 2005 while attending Marple Newtown Senior High.



After graduation Jenn continued her education at the University of Scranton where she received a B.S. in Counseling and Human Services. As a member of the Varsity Volleyball Team at University of Scranton she achieved the honor of Co-Captain as well as 2nd Team All Landmark Conference in 2009. She is the Record Holder for All Time Assists and is 3rd in All Time Service Aces. Jenn shares, “ During my college career I learned a lot from my teammates and coaches. I learned that hard work and determination pay off and that good communication can make a good team great.”



Jenn has worked as a camp counselor and coach for the Cardinal O’Hara Volleyball Camp and the Notre Dame/Bob McKeighan Volleyball Camp. She now will take on a whole new challenge as Assistant Volleyball Coach and she is full of energy and ready to serve. “I am looking forward to this experience and I want to learn and grow with the team. I want the team to be successful and by this I don't mean comparing wins and losses but instead comparing where we start the season and where we end it.”
