Todd Clark is in the midst of his fifth year guiding the Fighting Camel women’s soccer program. 2009 saw the team once again reach the Atlantic Sun Conference play-offs as several exceptional recruiting classes came to fruition. Prior to coming to The Creek, Clark coached in Ohio where his teams posted an impressive 102-33-13 record en route to numerous conference, regional, and national titles. Coach Clark has worked with the Irish Football Association and members of its national staff in earning both his UEFA A and B badges. He also holds the NSCAA Premier, Advanced, and National diplomas as well as awards from the Scottish Football Association and USSF. In addition to his soccer efforts, Clark also holds a Masters degree in Sports Science.
Fighting Camel goalkeeper coach Laurie Franklin is entering her fourth year with the Lady Camels. Franklin came to the Creek from the University of Louisville where she completed her graduate studies. Prior to Louisville, the Kentucky native was a four time All-American in the nets for Malone College (OH) and competed in four state championship matches in high school, winning three. Franklin works daily with the Campbell keepers as well as local club program Fayetteville Force. She has earned her National, Regional, and State goalkeeping diplomas through the NSCAA as well as her National coaching award.
Ali Tabrizi enters his second year with the Fighting Camels after joining the team from RSL in Tampa, Florida. He splits time between the field players and keepers. After attending the University of Texas, Tabrizi returned to his hometown LSU where he graduated. While in Baton Rogue he worked with BRSC before moving to RSL. Tabrizi holds multiple diplomas from the NSCAA including the Premier as well the National Youth license and a Regional GK diploma. In addition to his duties with the Fighting Camels Tabrizi is also on staff with the Women’s National Team for the nation of Guyana with whom he is currently seeking qualification for the next Women’s World Cup.
