A wide variety of sports camps are offered every summer at Southern Vermont College in Bennington, Vermont. Directed by Southern Vermont College coaches with NCAA Division III experience, each camp provides instruction on sport fundamentals and skill development. Our camps are grouped by age and/or ability and feature personalized attention.



The philosophy of the Mountaineers Soccer Camp is to provide age appropriate soccer instruction through games and activities for the maximum enjoyment of the campers and the best opportunity for learning the game.



Tenderfoots is designed for campers to become comfortable with the ball and improve their individual ball skills while exploring the game as individuals. They will learn basic ball control through various games and activities in a fun and positive environment. The majority of activities would center around developing individual skill on a one-player/one-ball ratio. Every day ends in 3v3 mini-matches, which would be unstructured, unrestricted play with coaches for encouragement and game management.



Pathfinders is for campers to learn to work with one another while refining their individual skills. The challenges are more advanced than the Tenderfoots, but so is the play. Every day is a different theme and challenge in the game of soccer. They get to explore all the positions on the field during the day ending in unrestricted 6v6 games.



The High School Conditioning Camp is a week of twohour conditioning sessions to prepare the high school player for the coming season, working on strength, speed and ball skills. By the end of the week, whatever your coach has in store for you, you will be ready.
