Each group of participants at the Cyclone Hockey School will receive over 3 hours of on-ice instruction daily. This will be broken down into practice and game time in the evening. Coaches will emphasize the fundamentals of skating (both power skating and overspeed skating), shooting, passing, individual skills and team skills. There will be daily scrimmages where all players will receive equal ice time regardless of their ability.

Campers at the Cyclone Hockey School will participate in structured off-ice training sessions. Equipment such as the Power Skater, agility ladders, balance balls, wobble boards and various other items will be used to teach core stability exercises, all for the emphasis of improving on-ice ability.
