Kidz Kampz was created with the intent of making a day kamp experience different than that of ordinary camps. Here at Kidz Kampz we do not want to think of your children as just a number on our roll sheets, we have created a close environment where everyone knows one another. The kampz were developed by a teacher going through his graduate degree program along with collaboration from teaching professionals in the San Diego area. We developed the kamp and it’s curriculum to cater to the diverse people of the Morley Field Community.  The majority of staff at Kidz Kampz are in the field of education or in the process of becoming educators.  We are serious about our passion for helping the young people of our community!

Are you at least 14-17 years old and have what it takes to be a responsible role model for our Kidz Kampers? If so, a junior counselor position may be for you. Junior counselors have similar duties as a real counselor only it’s a little more fun. JC’s are trained and get to do the same activities as the participants. To be a junior counselor you must be fingerprinted within the city of San Diego’s Park & Rec Dept. and fill out a volunteer application. Applications can be found at Muni Gym and the fingerprinting is free!
