The BLE Summer Camps in Oliver, B.C. are one of the longest running summer baseball camps in North America. Heading the camp for the 13th straight year are Marty Lehn, Scout for the Milwaukee Brewers organization and coach of the 2004 Canadian Olympic team and former Red Sox and Colorado Rockies player, Colin Dixon. In partnership with MIZUNO, the BLE will host a total of nine camps this summer which will include two BLE Individual Summer Camps, the BLE PNC Tune Up Camp, two Team Camps and four MIZUNO camps.
The BLE 10/12 Individual Summer Camp, July 26 to 31is designed for players born in 2000 to 1998. This camp is ideal for all skill levels and will be played on a 60 ft/46 ft. diamond with a focus on building the fundamentals of the game. Camp will include an Intersquad Can Am Tournament. Cost of the camp, including lodging, meals, camp shirt/hat and instruction will be $600.
The BLE BANTAM 13/15 Summer Camp, July 19 to 25 is designed for players born in ‘97 to ’95 of all abilities who will be playing on 80 ft/54 ft diamond. Instruction will focus on all aspects of the game including positional work. Campers will be given the option of playing on TEAM BLE in the KR3 Can Am Bantam Classic tournament held July 23 to 25. Cost of the camp/tournament is $650 and includes meals, lodging, camp hat and shirt, tournament shirt and tournament fees. Camp ONLY cost is $500.
The BLE MIDGET 15+ Summer Camp, August 9 to 14 is designed for players born in ‘95 and older of all abilities who will be playing on 90 ft/60.5 ft diamond. Instruction will focus on all aspects of the game including specialized positional work. Cost of the camp, including lodging, meals, camp shirt/hat and instruction will be $600.
The combined coaching and counseling staff is second to none, boasting Canadian and US National Team members, along with former Major Leaguers, active scouts and top University coaches and players.
