Lou-Don Farm is a full service Equestrian Center, located on 120 sprawling acres in Galesburg, Michigan. Offering boarding, lessons, training, leasing, and the breeding sales of our Irish Draught Sporthorses. Lou-Don Farm participates in Hunter / Jumper, Dressage and High Level Eventing. We can easily boast many of our riders, as being the most competative in South West Michigan. Proud members of the LMHJA (Lake Michigan Hunter Jumper Association) and host to many GLASS-ED Sanctioned Shows.(Great Lakes Area Show Series Educational Dressage)

We invite many special events to our facility, including Scouts earning thier badges, birthday parties, church outings, hay rides and much, much more.

Lou-Don Farm provides fun and educational riding lessons year round, either in one of the three outdoor arenas or in our large indoor arena.Board is available in our clean, updated barn of  70 stalls. Lou-Don Farm feeds it's horses only our own sweet and tasty hay. Grown right in our hay fields adjacent to the farm.

Lou-Don Farm was established in the 1950's by the Hanson Family. The farm is still in the family, and currently owned by Ena Hanson. The foundation of Lou-Don Farm is to provide a fun, safe, educational and family style environment for all horse lovers. As when the farm began, almost 60 years ago, the Lou-Don Riding School offers lessons by a select few instructors, who's experience and teaching skills continue to take our riders to the top. The instructors offer Hunter / Jumper & Dressage lessons for riders of all skill levels.

In 1986, Lou-Don Farm expanded into the breeding of the Irish Draught Sporthorse. For decades now, these horses have been bred for their superb athleticism, versatility and courage. Lou-Don Farm's Irish Draught Sporthorses have been shipped through-out the United States and England. Recognized as en exceptional example of the breed, and proven in Hunter / Jumper, Dressage and High Level Eventing.
