Taking place in the home of the Miami Rowing Club, this camp is packed with outdoor aquatic activities. The Aquatic Sports Camp is for children five to 15 years old and offers learning opportunities in competitive swimming, canoeing, water polo, kayaking, snorkeling, fishing, water biking, sailing, and sand soccer. The full day program runs from 9am-3:30pm. Bus transportation is available from the south at Dadeland Metro station, or Douglas Metro station; or from the north at Fashion Mall in Aventura, or Bal Harbour Shops. After camp care from 3:30-5:30pm is provided for an additional fee. The Swim Gym Mini Sports Camp is offered for children 3 to 6 years of age who are potty trained. The little ones participate in swimming, arts & crafts, songs & games, and play in the sand pit and playground. This program runs from 9:30am-1:30pm, and after care is offered from 1:30pm-3:30pm. Early drop-off at 8:40am is also permitted for both camp groups. Campers are given a hot lunch and snacks. Water and punch are available throughout the day. Campers receive a camp t-shirt, and need to bring their own water shoes/sport sandals; baseball cap for sun protection; snorkel/mask/fins for scuba and snorkeling; goggles; sun block; towel; and mesh bag for storing equipment.
