Vail Stables is a family-run operation located just one mile from Vail Village on the beautiful National Forest. Our well-qualified wranglers take pride in teaching horsemanship and safety while having fun. Our healthy, gentle horses are familiar faces with many of the campers who've attended our many camps and rides over the last 8 years.

We offer a flexible schedule allowing campers to attend just one day of camp, multiple days consecutively, or occasional days throughout the summer as desired. Prepare to see your child dirty, smelly, fired and full of smiles and stories when you pick them up at the end of the day. You may need a towel for the seat of your car. The horse camps accommodate first-timers to advanced riders ranging from ages 3-17. We provide approved equestrian helmets.
