Description

CAMP HALFMOON serves over 1,800 campers each summer, roughly 200+ campers per day. Each group has specifically trained staff members and activities designed to meet the needs of that particular age group. Camp HalfMoon is held on-site in the 10 acres of woods directly behind the Goffstown Allard Center YMCA. Campers learn new skills and make new friends as they cool off in the pool, conquer their fears on the challenge course, learn about nature, express their creativity in arts & crafts, shoot arrows, and bond with their teammates over sports. Campers will need a bathing suit, towel and a packed lunch each day. Campers will also attend a weekly field trip to a local state park or beach as part of the camp experience. Visiting guest artists such as Reptiles on the Move or a Scientist Magician add to the excitement! Theme days and an awards ceremony on Friday complete the week on a high note of fun and friendship. Please understand that as a part of the camp experience, your child will participate in a weekly field trip using school bus transportation or experience a guest artist at camp.
