We regret to inform you that Camp Deer Run will not be re-opening for the 2010 season. Our property in Pine Bush, New York is on the market for sale.Our intention in 2010 is to refocus our energy and resources to develop ways to further and better serve our regional, national, and global community.We also intend to continue our mission to provide innovative programs and initiatives in the fields of youth development and education, promoting self-reliance and social progress.At Deer Run we strive to provide activities, standards and attitudes which teach self-esteem, trust, teamwork and a cooperative spirit, in addition to good citizenship relative both to our own country and to the world. 

We endeavor to help each individual camper gain a sense of his or her own personal potential and to achieve a conviction that this potential can be realized. 

We also seek to instill in our staff and campers a deep respect for the land, its waters and all living things, and to encourage an ecological conscience which reflects our inter-dependence with all life and which acknowledges the individual’s responsibility for the health of our environment and our society.
