We are proud to welcome back William Jessup University to our Nike Camp Family. Conveniently located in Rocklin, CA, William Jessup is an ideal spot to fine tune your basketball skills this summer. Directing the basketball instructional program is WJU Head Men's Basketball Coach Aaron Muhic.
Coach Muhic brings over ten years of college basketball coaching experience to the Warriors. A native of Alaska, he was a standout player at East Anchorage High School where he helped lead them to numerous state tournament appearances. After completing four years of collegiate competition at Eastern Oregon University (B.S., 1992), where he was team captain his senior year, Muhic decided to pursue coaching at the college level.
Aaron began his coaching career in 1993, as an assistant for Pierce Community College in Tacoma, Washington. After one year, Coach Muhic decided to work on his master’s degree at the United States Sports Academy in Daphne, Alabama (M. S., 1996). Muhic then had the opportunity to coach with Dr. Jim Boutin at Lane Community College in Eugene, Oregon. In 1995, Aaron became the head coach for Warner Pacific College in Portland, Oregon (at the age of 25). While at Warner, Coach Muhic built the basketball program and secured one Pacific Northwest Collegiate Conference Championship. After four years in Portland, Muhic was given the opportunity to coach at Glen Oaks Community College in Centerville, Michigan. After helping Glen Oaks make post a record of 18-12 and make the national junior college regional tournament, Coach Muhic moved his family to California to be closer to family.
