Titus Park Swim and Tennis Club, located on San Benancio Rd. half way between Monterey and Salinas, is a perfect setting to learn and practice tennis.  One of the best kept secrets on the Monterey Peninsula, Titus Park has three championship tennis courts, a well maintained pool, and boasts the best weather on the Peninsula.

 

Directing camp this summer is veteran director, Shelly Stillman-Scott.  Coach Scott is currently the director of tennis at Titus Park Swim and Tennis Club where she has been working with adults and juniors for more than ten years.  In her 20+ year teaching career, she has developed players in Hawaii, Southern California, and Montana, in addition to the Central Coast.  

 

As a junior player, Shelly was ranked as high as #2 nationally in doubles and #12 nationally in singles.  More recently, she attained a career high ranking of #1 in the nation in women’s 45 doubles in 2006, and #7 in the nation in women’s 45 singles in 2009.  She enjoys sharing her love and knowledge of tennis with children and adults of all levels.

 

Camp runs from 12:00 to 4:00 each day, except Monday when registration begins at 11:30.  Each camper should arrive with a packed lunch and a large bottle of water to drink throughout the afternoon.  The campers will eat from 12:00-12:30 after which one group will be placed in recreational swim and the other group into tennis lessons. Halfway through the program, the groups will switch places.  Coach Scott will be on the court full time and maintain a 6:1 student/teacher ratio.
