DescriptionLocated in mid-Westchester County and situated on 200 acres of rolling countryside, Pace University returns to host this NIKE Basketball Camp. Daily instruction takes place at the Goldstein Health, Fitness & Recreation Center, the new, home court of the Setters. Camp will be directed by Carrie Seymour, Head Women's Basketball Coach at Pace. In her 17th year as the Head Coach at Pace University, she is the school’s all-time victory leader with 319. Seymour has led her teams to an average of over 19 wins a season since she began her stint in 1992. On Feb 23, 2008, she reached the 300-win mark with a 77-62 victory over Le Moyne; and to date, is the fourth-fastest Division II women's coach to reach 100 victories (127 games). Seymour has guided her teams to eight postseason appearances. The Setters have participated in 7 NCAA Tournaments, highlighted by a trip to the Division II Elite Eight in 2000-2001, and have won 3 ECAC Division II Championships (1993, 1996, 1997). Her success has been recognized regionally and nationally with many awards, including NYCAC Coach of the Year (93-94), 2 time WBCA District Coach of the Year (93-94 & 99-00), and she has been selected as the NIT/Met Writer’s Coach of the Year 5 times (1996, 2000, 2001, 2006 & 2007).
