Our basketball program here at Rocky Mountain College is rich in tradition and the

Frontier Conference is very competitive. We have 8 teams in the league including schools from Montana, Idaho, and Utah. The Battlin' Bears were the 2009 Division I NAIA NATIONAL CHAMPIONS winning college basketball's toughest tournament, which consists of winning five games in just seven days.

We want people in our basketball program that have good character and a sense of commitment towards academics and athletics. We want our players to be great student/athletes, and get that powerful degree from Rocky Mountain College. Our program is based on being TEAM-oriented. We are not a bunch of individuals. We define success not by wins and losses, but how John Wooden described it, "By giving 100% to be the best we are capable of becoming". Throughout the entire year, our #1 goal is to be committed to the Pursuit of Excellence in all areas of life.
