Thank you for your interest in the Gene Stephenson Shocker Baseball Camps. Our goal every year is to aid and refine each players fundamentals of the game. The Shocker staff works in harmony to provide each individual the utmost in instruction.



This summer we are excited to offer baseball camps to the young and less experienced to the old with more experience. The 3 Day Skills Camp is designed to offer the younger guys 7-12, an opportunity to work on their baseball skills while having fun. Just a half a day for three days, this camp should work well with those players that need their nights off for baseball games. The one day pitching and hitting camps are for the older guys, 13-up, to sharpen their skills. The Advanced Camps are for the very skilled. This camp proves to be successful for not only the camper but for the coaches. This camp provides players who want to continue their playing careers at the next level with an opportunity to be evaluated in a professional scouting format according to his position by the WSU coaching staff. The favorite camp voted by past campers is the One Week Premium Camp. Not only is it a full week long providing the camper exposure to ALL aspects of baseball, games are played every night to add to the fun and camraderie.



Coach Thomas and I, work closely with each player to help them get ready for their baseball season. Pitching Coach, Brent Kemnitz, is actively involved in each and every pitching camp. Coach Kemnitz is one of the premier pitching coaches in college baseball. He has produced numerous All-Americans in which several have reached the Major League status.

Our baseball camps and showcases in Wichita, Kansas are a great opportunity to take your game to the next level. Each camp is hosted by our college staff here at Wichita State University.
