DescriptionCamp Cedarcrest is located in Orange, Connecticut, next to the meandering Wepawaug River on 43 beautiful wooded acres. The camp began in 1924 and is owned and operated by the Interservice Clubs Committee Inc., a private, independent, 501(c)3 non-profit Rent our facility to established groups of 10 or more such as scout and wilderness groups, churches, Family Gatherings, theater and social groups, live action role players, other non-profits, schools, colleges, businesses and municipalities. Have facilities that include covered pavilions for picnics, 17 cabins with electricity that sleep up to 112 people, tent space for up to 600, dining hall with full service industrial kitchen, bathhouse with indoor plumbing and showers, beautiful hiking trails, great fishing, sports field, basketball and bocce courts and several areas for camp fires including our very unique amphitheater that seats about 100. We are non-profit organization and cater to municipal, church, school, scouting, college and special needs groups, social organizations, service clubs, retreat groups, role playing clubs and corporate and large family gatherings. Founded in 1924, we have over 80 years of continuous service to the youth of Greater New Haven made available through the combined efforts of The Inter-Service Clubs Committee of New Haven, Inc. comprised of the Kiwanis, Lions, Probus, Quota, and Rotary clubs of New Haven.
