The camp will be limited to 60 applicants. Participants will be expected to live in the campus dormitory during camp.
This school is designed for athletes entering grades 6 to 12 who want to learn sound fundamentals in punting, kicking and snapping. Campers are assigned to groups based on their age, grade level, and previous experience. Counselors are specially trained to teach drills and to analyze body movement. Groups are limited to 5 campers each. Beginners are welcome. Female campers may enroll. Parents of young campers are cautioned that this is a serious program of instruction requiring concentration and hard work. This is a non-contact camp.
Campers will be housed in a campus dormitory one block from the practice fields. (Each camper must bring sheets, towels, pillow and blanket.) Meals will be served in a campus cafeteria. Camp sessions will be conducted on practice fields, and classroom instruction will take place in the football team meeting room. All campers will participate in a kickin/punting/snapping exhibition on the final day of camp. Campers will be supervised at all times. The strength and conditioning area used by the Coastal Carolina athletes is NOT available to campers.
