PROGRAM STRUCTURE:  The structure of the Virginia District Boys' and Girls' AAU Basketball is a joint effort combining boys' and girls' basketball which has enabled our program to prosper and give the maximum quality back to our member clubs and players.  Although it is a combined program with an executive committee appointed by both the boys' and girls' chairmen; the chairman of girls' and the chairman of boys' have the final decision in approving all decisions made by the executive committee.  The administrative chairman is appointed by the chairmen to handle administrative matters for the program and to be a central contact point for all district qualifying tournaments.



CHAIRMAN VIRGINIA DISTRICT AAU GIRLS' BASKETBALL:  Jan Bruce is the Chairman of the Girls' AAU Basketball Program for the Virginia District.  Jan has been active in girls' basketball and the AAU for more than 20 years.  He resides in Roanoke with his wife Pat Bruce who is also very active in both the Virginia District and the National AAU Girls' Basketball Program.  Jan Bruce has the final decision and authority for matters regarding girls' basketball within the Virginia District.  Contact Jan Bruce via email.



CHAIRMAN VIRGINIA DISTRICT AAU BOYS' BASKETBALL:  Boo Williams is the Chairman of the Boys' AAU Basketball Program for the Virginia District.  Boo has been active in boys' basketball and the AAU for more than 20 years.  He resides in Hampton with his wife and family.  With the help of his wife and mother, Boo has established the nationally known Boo Williams Summer Basketball (BWSL) program serving the Eastern Virginia area.  Apart from being the Chairman in Virginia, Boo also is the National Chairman of Boys' Basketball.  Boo Williams has the final decision and authority for matters regarding boys' basketball within the Virginia District.  Contact Boo Williams via email.
