Field of Dreams was opened in 1981 originally by former Brewer Mike Hegan. His dream, like ours, was to provide a safe and fun indoor facility where families can come for sports and entertainment. We have been in business for over 27 years and have served over 100,000 patrons at our sports facility. Our main focus is on children, providing them with former Major League players for instructors and giving them an affordable, quality alternative for birthday parties.



Ron Mellantine, owner since June 2000, has worked at MHFOD since he was 16. He took it over with the same fervor that Mike displayed years ago. We have over 30 years of Major League experience on our professional staff! Some of our all-pro instructors include: Jim Gantner, Don August, Mike Hart, and Tim Trovato.
