Description
Camp Mechuwana runs a camping program from mid-June through mid-August. We have over 40 different weekly camps including day camp, trip and travel camps, canoe camps, swim camps, music and theatre camps, special needs camps, creative arts camp and much, much more. Summer camp brochures are available every January. for more summer camp info.
Over the years, many local, district and conference United Methodist church groups have used Mechuwana for retreats and other programs. They have found our unique setting a perfect place to work, reflect, relax and celebrate.
The camp is also available for other groups in the spring, fall and winter. Groups must be "not for profit" organizations and abide by the rules and policies of the camp.
How to register: Reserving space at Mechuwana must be done through the camp director, Norman Thombs. Details about menus, sleeping arrangements, and activities can be worked out at that time. After talking with Norman, a reservation contract will be sent to you.
Cost: Cost will vary with the number of persons in your group and the services Mechuwana provides (food, lifeguards, etc.). We prefer to provide all the meals for the group. Special menus can be arranged for your event. The cost per person will be provided to you prior to your event.
