Located near Long Island's parks and beaches, the 75-acre Adelphi University campus is only 45 minutes from New York City, offering a safe, suburban campus environment for our camp.

Adelphi Soccer Camp is directed and staffed by both the Adelphi Coaches and its current players. Former and current professional coaches and players will also be highlighted as camp instructors.

Session II: July 22-25 (Advanced Camp, ages 14-18)

The Adelphi University men’s and women's soccer program and head coach Carlo Acquista and Rich Ilsley will be holding a soccer academy starting July 22 and running through July 25. Overnight and Extended Day options are available.  Extended day runs from 9:30am (after breakfast) to 9:00pm. The academy is designed for boys and girls, age 14-18. During the academy the players will have the opportunity to experience all that Adelphi’s brand new facilities have to off er including the locker rooms, training facilities, pool, and the opportunity to play under the lights on Adelphi’s Competition Field Soccer Stadium.

The Camp will be a great opportunity for players to get a feel for what a preseason college experience is like. It will focus on all the aspects of the game a college player must be able to perform including advanced technical, tactical, and functional training at the highest level. Each day the players will get a feel for not only what is expected from a Division I and Division II soccer player on the field but also off the field in classroom tactical sessions. This camp is ideal for any player who wants to get a glimpse at what being a Division I and Division II athlete is all about.
