In 2010, Ripken Baseball is ready to deliver the ultimate summer camp experience. All campers will feel like big leaguers as they spend an entire day at an area Major League ballpark and learn directly from current and former professional players throughout the week! While on-site at the big league ball park, campers will: take a "behind the scenes" tour of the stadium & practice on the field that day! (Exact schedule subject to change.)



In addition to the thrilling Big League component, on-field instruction will teach campers the finer points of the game. Participants will choose two positions in which to specialize and learn more about their primary and secondary positions than they ever have before. Specialty positions include: pitching, catching, middle infield, corner infield, and outfield. New this year to the Big League Experience Camp is our MLB Scout Day which includes evaluations conducted by real MLB scouts in the 60-yard dash, infield fielding and throwing from shortstop, outfield fielding and throwing from right field, pitcher velocity, and catcher receiving and throwing to second and third base.
