The Fighting Illini Baseball Camp offers youngsters the opportunity to receive MAJOR LEAGUECHAMPIONSHIP caliber playing instruction. This camp features an intense concentration on fundamentals, the cornerstone in the development of any young ball player. Hustle, hard work and the desire to improve will be ingrained by our professional instructors.

The camp session offers any and all players an opportunity to dramatically improve their individual baseball skills. An emphasis will be placed on improving a camper’s hitting skills.

There are more than 30 hitting stations and each station has a specific drill to improve the batter’s hitting stroke.Each ball player will be assigned by age and ability to a “team” which will travel as a group through various instructional “stations.” Techniques common to all position players—hitting,

bunting, fielding, running and throwing—will be taught. Campers also will concentrate on specific defensive stations, including pitching and catching.
