The YGPD Basketball Program will develop all of your basketball skills - shooting, passing, dribbling, rebounding, and defense. Our program immerses you in the sport, giving you the kind of focused, intensive training that is essential to improvement. Over all, your self-confidence will grow along with your skills and overall appreciation of the game.

We are dedicated to teaching kids the essential skills necessary to help your child reach his/her potential. A combination of competitive drills and weight training that brings fundamentals into live-action instruction.

We work hard to help athletes recognize what it means to be intense and to play with mental toughness. Through encouragement and inspiration, we help athletes discover the joy of working hard. Hard work is a great attribute, especially when combined in a positive, loving atmosphere.

This program is a great place for any young basketball player who is looking to improve his/her skills, work hard and have fun! Our bottom line is to help train athletes to be their very best on and off the court. We want athletes to succeed physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Every athlete is important. Every athlete that comes is not a number to us, but an opportunity to educate, equip, and encourage reaching his or her dreams. We are the total the people for the total athlete.

We are not a camp. We are an elite program that will develop our athletes in all aspects of the game through repetition and technique. Through our program we will also focus on ACT and SAT prep sessions to prepare our athletes for these important qualifiers for college. We will teach all levels the mental aspects of the game and what it means to be mentally prepared and tough. This includes film breakdown, visualization drills, skill set scenarios, and workout analysis.
