The Equine Sciences program at Colorado State University has a long history, both in the College of Agriculture and the College of Veterinary Medicine.
Research programs, centered in both colleges, provide an unmatched situation for support of the undergraduate program. Students from across the U.S. and several foreign countries have enrolled in the Colorado State Equine program.
The camp is designed to be both an educational and fun experience for youths 10 to 15 years of age. Both English and Western disciplines are available during each camp session. Campers are under supervision by counselors and/or instructors during their stay at CSU. Housing and meals are provided in a university residence hall on the main campus. Transportation between main campus and the B.W. Pickett Equine Center is provided by counselors in University vans.
