DescriptionWelcome to the second year of the Rex Walters USF Basketball Camp. The Rex Walters Basketball Camp will focus on keeping things simple. We will stress the same things we stress to our players: Play Hard, Play Smart, Play Together, and have fun! We feel that by concentrating on these key things, all campers will have a great camp experience and, most important, have fun. We want to educate each camper so they have a solid base at becoming the best basketball player they can be. At camp we will emphasize how to be a team player and an unselfish basketball talent. We will make sure each camper understands what hard work is and how a positive attitude can help your personal development and your teammates. We will reward good sportmanship and emphasize a fun but competitive enviroment. Long acknowledged as one of the most outstanding places to watch a college basketball game on the West Coast, USF's War Memorial Gymnasium has undergone the most striking changes since its dedication over the past few years. This past summer, as part of the new Ricky and Therese Curotto Student-Athlete Center, the Moran Center (weight room) was enlarged and a new athletic training complex was built. A student-athlete study center, with computer availability, has just been opened. The building is dedicated to USF's dead from World War II, Korea and Vietnam, War Memorial Gym has been the scene of scores of Dons championship efforts. Details
