Baseball/softball is a very important part of our athletic program at Camp Bournedale boys summer camp. Superb facilities, instruction and an emphasis on fun make this a highlight of the boys summer camp. Our lighted facilities allow us to play at night and this adds a wonderful dimension to the program.

At night the air is different, the atmosphere is different and the boys feel like big leaguers. The instruction on a daily basis involves working on hitting, fielding and all other fundamentals of the game.

We have two baseball diamonds on the facility that are in constant use. We also host an annual softball tournament with other camps. Pick up 15 groundballs in a row at our daily practice and you and your cabin are off to Friendly’s for some ice cream.
