To provide an opportunity for local area high school seniors who did not sign Division I scholarship letters to showcase their skills and academic prowess to Division II, III & NAIA colleges to receive scholarship offers to continue their education at no cost to the student-athlete or University.

In March 2009, HISD coaches put on the event for HISD schools. There were 22 high schools, 20 colleges, and 200 seniors that participated in the event, which generated over $3 million in scholarship offers. By expanding the event to all Houston area schools, we are expecting to be able to double the amount of scholarships being offered. The morning session from 8:00 AM – Noon will be for the first 250 qualifying HISD students-athletes. The afternoon session from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM will for the first 250 qualifying student-athletes from high schools of the Greater Houston area.
