Strokes Summer Academy was designed to offer children a unique opportunity to learn tennis, squash, and swimming by the ultimate professionals in their respected fields. We partnered the resources of City View Racquet Club and Take Me To The Water Swim School for a summer to remember.
Tennis and squash are taught by the City View, staff. Campers start each day with a series of warm-ups including stretches and cardiovascular exercises and then progress into the on-court training program. Through individual and group instruction, our teaching staff pinpoints areas of improvement and helps campers enhance stroke production, footwork, consistency, and shot placement. Match play includes singles, doubles and mixed doubles, and is designed to help campers apply the stroke techniques that they have learned to game situation. A videotaped analysis of technique allows coaches and campers to evaluate strokes and assess development. Other fun activities include target tennis contests, tournament series, and much more!

Swim classes are taught by the highly recognized Take Me To The Water swim school staff. Since 1984 our program has taught children of all abilities, from aquaphobics to swim team, to reach their goals and potential. Your child will learn the four major strokes; free style, butterfly, breast, and the back stroke. Our instructors will break down the each stroke into small segments and bring them together in a fun imaginary way. Take Me To The Water trains thousands of children on a weekly basis in 20 locations throughout the metropolitan area.
