DescriptionThe Oregon men's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to No. 24 Washington on Saturday afternoon in their 2010 regular season finale. The Ducks finish the season with a record of 11-11 (0-6 Pac-10) while Washington improves to 17-5 (2-4 Pac-10) after the win. Oregon's lone point came at no. 4 singles where freshman Nico Bjerke defeated UW's Derek Drabble 6-2, 7-6 (3). Oregon also had a win in doubles as freshman Aaron Clissold and Doug Mayeda knocked off Tobi Obenaus and Alex Rosinski 7-6(3) at No. 3. Oregon will wrap up the 2010 season at the Pac-10 Championships in Ojai, Calif. on April 22-25. The Pac-10 Men's and Women's Tennis Championships does not determine a team title, but individual singles and doubles winners. Pac-10 team titles are determined by regular season record. USC and Stanford are co-champions as each posted 4-1 conference marks. Stanford also split the women's team Pac-10 title with rained-out matches from earlier in the season to be completed in Ojai to determine the other winner. Details
