DescriptionHired as Missouri’s new Head Women’s Basketball Coach on April 8, 2010, Robin Pingeton comes to Mizzou with 15 years of head coaching experience and a 338-157 (.683) career record. Pingeton spent the last seven years at the helm of Illinois State, where she brought the Redbird program back to national prominence. During her tenure, she led the school to three straight Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Regular Season titles, two State Farm MVC Tournament championships, a school-best four straight 20-win seasons, two NCAA Tournament berths and three WNIT appearances en route to MVC Coach of the Year honors in 2004 and 2010. Prior to Illinois State, Pingeton spent three years as an assistant at Iowa State, when the Cyclones won the 2001 Big 12 Tournament title and earned two NCAA Tournament berths. She started her head coaching career at her alma mater, St. Ambrose, in 1992, where she had a record of 194-76 in eight seasons. Details
