Entering his fourth year as head coach…formerly served nine years as assistant head coach and offensive line coach under Chuck Lyon…has been with COC since the reinstatement of the football program in 1998…in his three seasons as head coach, Tujague has led the team to a 27-9 record…garnered coach of the year honors in 2007 and 2008… tutored 25 student-athletes who received scholarships to four-year universities, including three Community College All-America honorees…before joining the Cougars, coached at Chabot and the University of Redlands…while at Redlands, the Bulldogs won two Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships…played offensive lineman at BYU, where his teams won three Western Athletic Conference titles…earned All-conference honors while blocking for Heisman Trophy winner Ty Detmer…prior to BYU, played at Chabot and was named an All-America offensive lineman…received a bachelor's in recreation management from BYU and a master's in educational counseling from the University of Redlands
