In the nineteenth century, the Brothers of the Christian Schools and the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet traveled to the United States to establish schools, hospitals and bring their ministries to this new country. In the twentieth century, Cretin High School, Derham Hall High School, and now Cretin-Derham Hall continued to instill the mission and values of these orders as the school educated young men and women. Now in the twenty-first century, Cretin-Derham Hall is still teaching the same mission and values as the school grows to meet the challenges of the new century.
Cretin-Derham Hall is a Catholic co-educational high school, cosponsored by the Brothers of the Christian Schools and the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, committed to Christian values and academic excellence in grades nine through twelve. We will educate young men and women of diverse abilities, cultures and socio-economic backgrounds for opportunities in post-secondary education.
