Description

Nearly 200 acres of sandy beaches, meadow, forests, nature trails & two private islands are a perfect summer home, filled with opportunities for friendship and adventure. Ideally situated between the rugged, sparkling Maine coast and the hiking trails and waterfalls of the White Mountains , the camps offer an active and varied outdoor experience. Campers grow in their understanding of God while they learn life-enriching skills through participation in a variety of land and water sports and art activities as well as day trips and overnight excursions. Imagine yourself having the time of your life at a summer camp where you will make friends, who are fellow students of Christian Science, from all over the U.S. and the world!

you'll live with 5-10 kids your own age in a cabin with two counselors-well-trained to keep you safe, happy, and ready for all kinds of adventures! You'll spend every day in activities that stretch your skills and talents to new levels of achievement and confidence. You'll love being right on the lake to enjoy swimming, sailing, windsurfing, waterskiing, wakeboarding, canoeing, and kayaking. Our land activities are just as much fun: you can scale more and more challenging faces of the rock wall, zip across the Camp's fields on the zipline, harness and climb yourself high up into the pine boughs of the ropes course, play tennis, street hockey, basketball, soccer, and lacrosse, or spend hours perfecting a project in the art studio. and that's only the beginning! The BEST parts of Newfound and Owatonna are the staff and the other kids. Being at Camp means expanding your family to include lifelong Camp friends! It's about selflessly living the Golden Rule and doing your best. It's about loving, demonstrating and living Christian Science-seeing divine Love in action all around you. Come to Camp Newfound or Camp Owatonna this summer and find out what amazing Camp experiences are waiting for you!
