Jeff Neubauer is entering his sixth year at Eastern Kentucky University after spending 12 seasons as a Division 1 assistant coach with West Virginia University, the University of Richmond, and The Citadel. Neubauer’s teams have been consistently successful in his time at EKU as the Colonels recently completed their second twenty win season, and have won at least 10 OVC games every year under his guidance. In just his second season as EKU’s Head Coach, he led the team to an OVC Championship and an NCAA tournament berth. Picked eighth in the preseason, the Colonels exceeded expectations by winning 21 games, including 13 in the Ohio Valley Conference. Over the past couple of years, Eastern

Kentucky has ranked among the top Division I programs in the nation in three-point shooting. The Colonels have set numerous school records under Neubauer including most home wins in a season (15) and most regular season wins with (20), both of which were accomplished in the 2009-10 season..

A native of Slidell, Louisiana, Neubauer was an outstanding student-athlete at LaSalle University, where he helped lead his team to 2 NCAA tournament appearances. Success has followed Neubauer throughout his basketball career. As a player and coach, he has competed in the NIT and NCAA tournaments a total of 9 times.

Jeff Neubauer will be assisted by his entire coaching staff, Ted Hotaling, Josh Merkel, Everick Sullivan, Ryan Hart and Austin Newton. Also, members of the EKU basketball team will be on hand to help teach the campers the fundamentals of basketball.
