In 2003, Wilson Webb purchased 12 ¼ acres in the middle of Ridgetop, TN to build tennis courts and a club house. The desire was to augment the 6 total courts in Robertson County and to develop tennis programs that facilitated players abilities to find other players as well as to raise the level of play. This was a venture in an area that had high interest in team sports, but little interest in tennis due to no facilities and no programs.



Wilson Tennis Academy opened in April 2004. The facility consist of 4 hard courts and clay court, a pavilion and a clubhouse. It is nestled among trees and is spectator friendly. Greenbrier High school has never had any home courts so they have always had to play their games away. As of April 2004 these courts are the High School's home courts. The Academy is also the home to the Highland Rim Tennis association. Since then the academy has sponsored 5 junior leagues and junior camps, junior clinics, womens & mens clinics. There is a Novice tournament and 1 USTA sanctioned tournament each year.



The Academy now sponsors year-round Junior leagues, numerous Junior summer camps and weekly clinics for Men, Women and Juniors from May to October. HIgh School teams can come and spend the night, be fed, and have an intense camp experience over Spring Break or during the Summer.
