Description

a private, co-educational camp for children aged 7-16, Camp Winnebagoe is situated on Fox Lake near Huntsville, in the beautiful lakelands of Ontario's Muskoka region. Each summer, 300 campers are offered a wide choice of activities with instruction from beginner to advanced levels.Winnebagoe's enrolment is purposely limited so that the needs and concerns of each camper are individually met.

It is the warmth of Winnebagoe and the close "family feeling" that provide our campers with such a special summer experience.

Camp Winnebagoe celebrates the individual child. Enrollment is purposely limited to 300 children so that the needs and concerns of each camper are individually met. The smaller camp population is crucial in ensuring that the camp retains a warm, caring feeling, a place where every member of the "camp family" knows one another, no matter the age.

Hello!
I'm interesting about your camp for next summer 2014. My Clara's daugther wants to go to your camp.
I would like to have more information about actyvities and canoenig trips. Clara will be 12 years old next summer (now she's 11). She's from Barcelona (Spain).
This summer she was in a Girl Camp in Canada dor 1 month, but she wants to know an other camp for boys and girls.
Thanks

Winnebagoe is a truly unique place where children develop a home away from home. The social environment at Winnebagoe, where campers are appreciated by the great staff and by their remarkable peers, is something very special. I spent 11 years there and will always remember it, it helped me become a participator, a leader, and someone confident with who he is. There is no better way to spend 1 or 2 months -- in a cabin with 8-12 eager peers, fun counselors, a great mix of activities, competitive camp-wide events. There are several good camps in Ontario but I highly, highly recommended Winnebagoe.
